DroneBase uses the payment processor Stripe to deliver all payments to US pilots. Pilots must create a Stripe account in order to receive payments for any mission.
International pilots will be paid through PayPal or directly from DroneBase if your country does not accept Paypal.
You can sign up for Stripe using the link in your pilot profile under Payment Information. You must complete all fields in order for your account to be activated. Your information will not be shared or used for anything else other than DroneBase payments and 1099 tax documents.
You will need to complete the Stripe setup in one instance. The page will time out if left unattended and any information submitted after the fact will not be saved. If you experience any issues during setup or need to start over, reach out to email@example.com. If you experience any other issues within Stripe you can contact Stripe support at support.stripe.com
PAYMENT SCHEDULE: The pay period is Tuesday - Monday. Funds are deposited into Stripe on the following Monday. Stripe accounts set to transfer funds to the bank account on file may need to wait an additional 2 days. You can still use your funds directly from Stripe on Monday if you prefer.
Only payments for completed missions will be deposited. A completed mission is one where you received email confirmation that assets were approved and payment was sent.
You will need to reference that confirmation date to determine the pay period and when you will receive funds.
EXAMPLE: All missions submitted and confirmation received between Tuesday the 1st and Monday, the 7th would be deposited the following Monday the 14th. See the example image below.

You will be notified of asset approval and when payment is sent via email. You may also receive email notifications at the end of each pay period from DroneBase regarding payment completion but you will need to refer to the payment schedule and your Stripe account to understand when funds will actually be available.
After each pay period, you can log into your Stripe account and see the expected date funds will be available in Stripe.
